Call for contributions to Information Matters from ASIST

Dear Professionals, Information Matters (IM) (https://informationmatters.org/about/) is a digital-only communication translational forum for information science, bringing relevant and current research evidence and industry developments, news, and opinion to a global public audience free of charge. The platform is sponsored by the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T). IM is committed to producing translational reports, news, reviews, columns, and features of the highest standards. Our publication serves to inform the public, industry professionals, educational practitioners, and policymakers on information science issues of critical importance to society and civil life. Our readers rely on our content, to be informed and aware, and also to support decision-making. It is therefore essential that every published piece meets our commitment to quality, accuracy, and integrity. As an Associate Editor of Information Matters (IM), I am reaching out to you to consider submitting papers for IM. All articles written for Information Matters communicate the discipline of information science to an intelligent, educated lay reader. We write about information science in a highly informative and authoritative manner, but for a generalist audience. We welcome contributions on a rolling basis in areas of interest. Make sure you understand the IM as a platform and a journal and what kind of audience we have. Then read up on our style and formatting expectations. Once you submit your post, it will be reviewed according to the content, quality, and style expectations. Even when accepted, you may get revisions suggested to make your contribution suitable for the IM platform. The whole process typically takes 2-4 weeks. Once published on the IM platform, the papers also get published in the eJournal format by ELSEVIER’s SSRN ( https://www.ssrn.com/index.cfm/en/information-matters/) As the author, you retain the rights and provide IM exclusive license to host your contribution for 3 months. Read about our terms, conditions, and author consent here https://informationmatters.org/author-agreement/.
