There is some good news which arrived last evening when the ORCID team and the Board and invitees were having dinner in a crowded restaurant in Stockholm after two days of deliberations on matters of importance to ORCID. *Science* (AAAS) has carried a cover story (reproduced below) on ORCID. All of us at the dinner were happy that ORCID was not only discussed in *Science *but it also made to the cover page. Surely this will prove to be a shot in the arm for ORCID.
