As you may know, I left USEFI at the end of April, 2008, and returned to India in June to serve as an Advisor to the planners of the O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) and Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), proposed to be established in Sonipat, Haryana and to enroll students in September, 2009. The university is proposed to be established under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006. Please bring to the attention of law-qualified librarians the announcement of the opening for Director of the Law Library for the proposed JGU/JGLS. The university aims to build a culture of legal research in India and the law library will necessarily play a key role in achieving that.
