Dear all, We are pleased to announce that the customization of DSpace, AgriOcean DSpace 1.0, is now available in source code at http://code.google.com/p/agriocean with the option to customize the lay-out and to adapt the configuration file to local requirements. For institutions with limited IT support an easy-to-install version (Windows-based) is available under Downloads on the same page. On AIMS (Agricultural Information Management Standards) you can find a section dedicated to AgriOcean DSpace with background information and support material http://aims.fao.org/tools/agriocean-dspace. AgriOcean DSpace is a joint initiative of FAO and UNESCO-IOC/IODE to provide a customized version of DSpace. Its objective is to make literature in digital form using standards for metadata, thesauri and other controlled vocabularies commonly used in the field of oceanography, agriculture and related sciences. For further information on the customization please do not hesitate to contact us at AIMS@fao.org. We will be happy to solve any doubts or questions you may have.
