Responsibilities * Maintain Library and do routine operation like book purchase, cataloging, issue/return etc. * Assist scientists in doing searches and getting reference material * Assist in managing various online systems like intranet, Library Management System, Portals etc * Patent and IP related search * Manage Lab Note Books including issue/return and archiving * Create awareness about various online resources/databases and effective utilization of available resources * Track and provide competitive Intelligence information to management * Work with IT in managing various scientific s/w Profile Requirements * The applicant should be M. Sc. in Chemistry and Master/ Bachelor in Library and Information Science OR B.Sc. in Chemistry and Masters in Library and Information Science with 2+ years of experience * Relevant experience in Pharma or in chemistry structure searching is preferable * Candidates who have worked on Open Source s/w (KOHA, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress etc) will be preferred. * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) * Should be well versed with various offline and online databases especially in chemistry and biology. For example Scifinder, STN, Crossfire etc Salary will not be a constraint for right candidate and it will be the best in industry.
