The programme will give the participants a sound overview of bibliometric methods, data sources, data processing, performance indicators and tools & techniques related to bibliometric analysis and mapping. It will provide awareness about the most commonly used database, how to build -up relevant indicators and how to interpret the data. Special emphasis will be given to indicators used in research evaluation. *Resource Persons* The lecturers are prominent researchers, scientists/professors in the field of bibliometrics.
