SHPT School of Library Science Past Student’s Association, Mumbai Dear all, Prof. (Ms.) Vidyut Khandwala, Ex- University Librarian of SNDT Women’s University and Head of SHPT School of Library Science has passed away on 3rd June 2005. Prof. Khandwala distinguished herself by her professional and academic leadership and dynamism. She was responsible for developing the SNDT Women’s University Library on modern lines, and for the establishment and growth of the SHPT School of Library Science. Her initiative in library continuing education and extension programmes made SNDT Women’s University Library and SHPT School of Library Science landmarks in the field of Library Science.
