Date: Mon, 30 Mar 2009 15:52:52 +0530 (IST) From: Pijushkanti Panigrahi Notice to suggest the new name for IASLIC Bulletin As you now the 'IASLIC Bulletin' is the official organ of the Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC) and is devoted to the advancement and dissemination of the fundamentals and applied knowledge of library and information science in an accessible form to professional colleagues who have a common interest in the field in this country and abroad. This journal is published quarterly and has earned much reputation. Many of our members are of the opinion that the term 'Bulletin' is a much broader one and is also used at present in other context, which is far away from the concept of a journal. Hence the Governing Body, IASLIC has decided to change its name. As decided in the Governing Body Meeting of IASLIC held on 09.12.2008 you are requested to suggest a new name for our Journal at your earliest convenience.
