Dear Professionals. One of my students, Mr. Madhu K.S. of National Law School of India University has sent a mail to me which I am retransmitting for the benefit for larger community. Found this interesting book by Harvard's Berkmen Centre on "copyright for librarians" (yes... freely downloadable!!!). http://www.eifl.net/news/cfl-essential-handbook-launches. It largely deals with the US and EU positions, along with Berne, TRIPS etc... So there is no Indian law involved. evertheless, I thought it is well written and may useful. It would be great if we could keep copies in our libraries and get the notice of the librarians. -- N.S.
