Ashta-anga Yoga method created by Pathanjali has eight parts to it including spiritual, mental, physical practices (Sadhanas) that help humanity find peace in day-to-day life… Peace of mind means healthy and happy life… Practitioners of yoga have vouched for healthy and happy life, extra energy for extended working days, less stress and peace of mind. In this presentation cum demo & practice session, we will explain the Ashtanga Yoga along with practice of some of its parts. For one to get benefits of yoga, one must practice it regularly. Due to work pressure and lack of time, many start yoga and give up after few days or weeks or months. We will provide remedy for this by helping you with 5,15,30 and 60 minutes modules so that one can do according to the availability of time without skipping yoga for even one day. About the Speaker: Mr. Srinivasan graduated in BE (Hons) in ECE from College of Engineering, Guindy in 1973 and obtained his ME (Distinction) in Automation from IISc Bangaore in 1975. He has over four decades of experience in ICT field in the areas of Hardware, Software, Programming, System Analysis & Design, Training, Implementation, IT Management and Consulting from the mainframe era to thin client era. He is a senior member of CSI and an active member of CII. Earlier to starting his own company Kengs India Pvt Ltd, he has worked in TCS, TBL, IDM, CMC. His other management roles include: Director, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd., Chennai; Joint Managing Director, Lambda Elcot Ltd., Chennai; Director, Macro Marvel Properties Ltd., Chennai; and President, Maijosoft Systems Ltd., Chennai. He has learnt Yoga from IISc,Bangalore during his post-graduation days; perfected it in Yoga Institute Santa Cruz, Mumbai; and updated with Yogi Ashwini, Bangalore.
