Researchers share our worries about library budget cuts
Dear Friends, In the two recent articles published in 'The Scientist', it was interesting to find that scientists of west share our concerns about library budget cuts. Read the opinion of Robert Buckingham, a long-time epidemiologist at NMSU and now dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan "The lifeblood of a university is its library, and cutting library resources is like cutting off oxygen to the brain.......Without this lifeblood, the university will falter and fail." I wonder how many Indian scientists will join them ?!
