Sub themes: v Changing role of public libraries and librarians in Information Society v Library legislation and library development. v Public library governance v Role of RRRLF and other Institutions in public library development in India . v Changing needs of users community v Migration from print to digital v Expanding dimensions of public library services v User employment through information literacy v Networking and resource sharing Call for papers The Organizing Committee of the seminar on Emerging challenges for Public Libraries to be held at Kurukshetra University , Kuruksehtra, invites original contributions based on practice, theoretical & empirical research, related to the theme. All papers will go through a process of review and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. All papers must be original contributions and should be submitted through email only. A panel of experts will review each contributed paper. Authors should use times new roman with 12 points font in the MS Word format in double space and should not exceed 5000 words. Correspondence will be made with the principal author and therefore the name, full address, email, and work, home, mobile phone numbers of the principal author should be clearly indicated.
