dear friends I congratulate Dr.N K Bar, who had been selected as Director, Library and Information , Archeological Survey of India ( ASI), New Delhi. he is likely to join very soon. Presently, he is heading the Library and resource center of Election Commission of India.This level post ASI is created for the first time. The Director will take care of the services at HQ and also 39 such resource centres existing in the country. With his vast expereince, education both in and out side India, Dr Bar will be able to bring new colors to the position and likely to introduce new and innovative services that will bring new status to the library services in ASI.
