Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi invites applications for the post of Documentation Assistant, to work in the centre™s Knowledge Resource Centre (Library) which documents books, journals, news clippings and audio-video on environment and also compiles various information products on science and environment. Place of work: New Delhi Eligibility: Graduates or Post Graduates preferably in science/ecology/environment with familiarity in environment and conservation issues. A background in Library and Information Science is desirable. Prior experience of working in news clippings, audiovisual section of NGOs/ developmental organisations would be an added advantage. Must possess good communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and verbal. Must possess working knowledge of MS- Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint etc. Candidates interested in the audiovisual section must have a basic knowledge of electronic photo and film documentation, film production, etc. Should be comfortable in using software like Photoshop and Quark Express.
