Dear
Members
I
am pleased to announce the facility of copy cataloguing of
bibliographic records from the INFLIBNET’s web site. Library professionals can download
bibliographic records of books according to ISO 2709 format from the union
catalogue of the Centre , which contains holdings of major university
libraries in India. The Centre has opened the facility to download searched or
matched records according to MARC21, ASCII and
CCF.
In order to make use of this facility, you may visit our site at
http://www.inflibnet.ac.in or MailScanner warning: numerical links are often malicious: http://202.141.12.214:8080/unicat/book.jsp . SOUL users can directly import ISO files in to their local database and update the local fields (Accession no). We believe that this facility will benefit those libraries, who are yet to automate their libraries. They can simply search and save matched records.
Those who wish to contribute bibliographic records
in union catalogue, please contact INFLIBNET
Centre.
With best regards
