Members of the LIS Community have now enjoyed our Second LIS Academy National Conference on Innovations in Libraries, and the event is getting rave reviews. On behalf of the LIS Academy Trustees and the Organising Committee of the Second LIS Academy National Conference, I am desired to extend a heart-felt thank all those professionals who are responsible for making this event so successful. The Conference was inaugurated by His Excellency the Governor of Karnataka Sri. Vajubhai vala, Prof.Kavi Mahesh Director IIIT, Dharwad deliverd the Key note address and Valedictory address was delivered by Prof.Srinivas Kumar, Vice Chancellor of JNTU Ananthapuram (AP). There was a greate response for our call and 22 invited speakers contributed their papers. However, there were many other LIS Experts could not make it this time for different reasons.
