Publications have more importance than experience in selection of candidates for interview. There is no uniformity in selection criteria nowadays in various institutions. The experts in library domains need to frame a standard for this. Otherwise experience has no values in some organisations and those who only want to be good librarian will surely miss many opportunities in future.
