Shivaji University under the new dynamic Vice Chancellor Prof.M.M. Salunkhe has lots of plans to build a modern IT based Library. They have recently purchased a State-of-Art overhead scanner for their digitisation activities, which will through a lots of challenges before the new Librarian being recruited. Prescribed application forms (a set of 12 copies) can be had from the University office on payment of Rs. 300/- in cash (not refundable) and by post on sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 325/- (not refundable) for Open posts and on payment of Rs.150/- in cash (not refundable) and by post on sending a demand draft of Rs. 175/- (not refundable) for reserve posts drawn in favour of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur Branch. The application forms are also available on the website of the university under the tab '' Application for the teachers post '' which can be downloaded and filled on the computer and print-outs on A4 size papers, in 12 copies duly completed can be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. However a D.D. of Rs. 300/- for open posts and Rs. 150/- for reserved post drawn in the name of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur Branch should accompany the Application forms.
