Dear Vimal Kumar, As you are already aware, we at NCSI are conducting a workshop on integrated library automation packages including KOHA 3.x and NewGenLib. I am happy to inform you that we have developed detailed manuals and also scripts for easy installation of both the software on Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows platform. We have successfully tested installation of these software on other Linux platforms (Debian and Fedora) also. We will be covering this in the forthcoming workshop from January 5th to 9th. Infact, OSS Labs are also participating in the workshop. Details of the workshop can be accessed at: http://dharmaganja.ncsi.iisc.ernet.in/workshop Regards, Anuradha On Tue, 16 Dec 2008, Vimal Kumar wrote:
Dear Friends,
I submitted an offer in Lis-Forum about free installation of Koha 3 for libraries in Trivandrum city.
I got lot of responses from out of Kerala for Koha 3 installation.
Unfortunately I am not in a position to reach libraries out of Kerala.
I request you to approach Linux experts in your area for Koha installation.
Another solution is hire service of companies providing Koha support.
I would like to introduce OSSlabs (http://www.osslabs.biz/products/koha/) from Bangalore.
Their pricing is very attractive and affordable to libraries. See their pricing here

Thank you again for your interest in Koha open source ILS.
