Dear Professional Colleagues,

            It is time for us to come to gether and fight against unpopularity, illtreatment of Librarians and Library Profession.  The Monster advertisement regarding the Library as a Boaring professions is indeed condemned by every library professional in India.  At present we are at the cross roads regarding the profession for which it is categorised under teaching or non teaching staff.  In the present day scenario society thiks thatthe librarians job is neither teaching nor non teaching but it is a mere clerical job.  In this connection I severely condemned the monster advertisement as it is sending wrong signals to the Library Profession and future librarians.
