Applications are invited for the following posts to work full time in the Research Project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India entitled as “Developing a Subject Information Gateway in Information Technology (SIGIT)” in the Department of Library and Information Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh for the period of two years. Appointment will be initially for one year renewable depending upon the performance of the candidate.
Qualification:
· Essential: Ph.D. (Library Science/Computer Science) with knowledge of handling of computer hardware as well as software, website design and development.
· Desirable: M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology)/PGDCA with working experience in developing search engines/portals etc.
Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month (fixed)
Qualification:
· Essential: M.L.I.Sc./M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology)/MCA with minimum 55% marks.
· Desirable: Adequate knowledge of web searching, analysis and presentation.
Salary: Rs. 8000/- per month (fixed)
