Dear all, Librarians act like filters; they validate; they collate and repackage the information to fulfill the specific requirements of users. Certainly the profession is not dispensable. The thing really required of us professionals is that we truly read the writing on the wall to reinvent ourselves as information processors rather than continue in the dormant role of book/journal dispensers.
