Prof. B. S. Maheswarappa, our esteemed teacher is known for his quality and excellence in teaching and research in LIS. He has put up more than 30 years of teaching and research experience in Library and Information Science and taught courses at BLISc, MLISc, and MPhil in three universities in the State namely University of Mysore, Mysore, Karnatak University, Dharwad; and Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. He has published so far 123 research publications in National and International Journals. Seven MPhil and Six Ph.D. candidates have obtained Ph.D. under his guidance.
