[LIS-Forum] Information about M.Phil Programme

I'm now searching for some institutes that offer M.Phil Degree in Distance education mode. Last year UGC had notified that the present academic year will be the last year during which universities will be allowed to offer M.Phil courses in the distance education mode. However, I'm told that some universities in the South have published their advertisement for M.Phil. degree for the year 2008. I would be thankful if somebidy can clarify on this. Majid Rao
