Libri Journal – Best Student Research Paper Award 2025

Libri: International Journal of Libraries and Information Studies invites submissions for its Best Student Research Paper Award 2025. This competition recognizes outstanding student research in library and information science.

Award:

•           €500 for the winning paper

•           Honourable mentions may be awarded

•           Winning paper(s) published in issue 2025:4

Eligibility:

•           Current Master’s or PhD students, or those who completed their degree within the last 24 months

•           Single-author submissions only

Topics:

Submissions should align with Libri’s focus areas, including:

•           Libraries and information environments

•           Information behavior, retrieval, ethics, and policy

•           Knowledge management, digital libraries, AI, and emerging technologies

•           Open science, literacy, cultural heritage, LIS education, and more

(Note: Topics like scientometrics and bibliometrics are excluded.)

Submission Guidelines:

•           Length: 5,000–7,000 words (excluding abstract, tables, and references)

•           Language: English

•           Deadline: June 30, 2025, 23:59 UTC
