With great pleasure to inform you that Libraries of NMIMS , Mumbai and JCCL
, Mumbai is going to organize a National Workshop on Confronting
Copyright: for Librarians and Academicians on 14th October, 2017
The broad objective of this workshop is to provide a suitable forum:
- To create awareness among professionals about copyright issues in day
to day professional practice
- To Introduce the legal amendments in copyright Act to the participants
.
- To acquaint the participants with the concept of fair use and
copyright in digital resources.
- To provide platform to share views and clear issues on Copyright Act
- To promote competencies to the participants for managing plagiarism

Librarians and Academicians in academic institutions like colleges.
University and corporate and special libraries
Any stakeholder in concerned fields , students of Library Science and
Students seeking for carreer as academician also may join.
