Karnataka state collgeate education and Karnataka state college Librarians Assocation jointly organized "Librarians Day" on 12th august 2009 at Maharani Science women's college at 12:30 pm karnataka state higher education department  has declared  the Dr. Dr.S.R.Ranathan's B'day as librarians day .

The Karnataka Govt Higher Education Hon. Ministar Shri. Aravind Limbaval Will innogarate the function. Hence I request all the college librarians to attened the function and make the function grand sucessful
