I have been involved in developing a complete digital repository here in
Australia for agriculture and natural resource management research
information - there are 3 main repositories
1. Research in progress
2. Researcher profiles (so while the research is still being undertaken you
can contact the researcher and talk)
3. Research reports (moving from a bibliographic database to full text
repository)
There are 40 partner research organisations raging from Federal and State
Governments and rural research and development corporations.
The company we used was Netcat (www.netcat.com.au) and the database can be
found at www.aanro.net

PS thanks to all who sent me possible vendors for digitising microfilm. It
was for a friend who works in one of the very large companies here in
Australia and she is most grateful.
