ABSTRACT
The present world is denoted as the world of Digital resources and communication. A revolution has been made in information environment due to digital technology. Digital content forms the base of digital environment and it is the essential part of web, internet, multimedia and specially digital library technology. Various standards, tools and methods have been developed for better resource management, information retrieval, storage and transmission in the Digital world. This colloquium is an attempt to focus on various issues, formats, standards and organization of digital content.
