Dear everyone, I retired from the Raman Research Institute Library on the 31st of December after a long service of 36 years. Over the years the library has changed in so many ways that it is difficult to imagine what it was like when I first joined RRI. I have been keeping in touch with all of you through LIS-FORUM since the time it was started and I would like to thank you all for the many interesting and useful discussions that went on in the forum. Many times we have received help from the members and answers to our queries. Of course I intend to continue to subscribe to the forum as it will help me to keep in touch with the profession.
