Dear Friends, It is quit interesting that as per the answer key published by UGC, most of the library and information science candidates (around 70% - the data and feedback from various social networking media) are above the cutoff marks... whether UGC will grant NET & JRF to all these candidates.....or UGC set any other criteria....? It is the time to think about whether objective model is good enough to select outstanding candidates...? I strongly doubt that, UGC will be in trouble to frame standard objective questions - non repetitive- in a subject like Library & Inf. Science...? Or next time on wards they may go for negative marks... or you suggest it....? I invite your discussion on all these matters Regards Ratheesh.K University Library CUSAT,Kochi-22 -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
