Sir, deeply saddened to know about demise of Dr.Hildun Kretschmer..

I had an opportunity to meet her (as a couple) during CALIBER-2004, at JMI New Delhi along with our greatest LIS professional Late.Dr.VS Cholin sir.

She was so passionate about our Country, INFLIBNET Centre, Collnet, etc and liked visiting again and again.

A kind lady and inspired a lot about the service towards the Library patrons. 

Heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, colleagues n associates.

Pray the almighty to make her humble soul to rest with his eternal peace.

"It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of a beloved
friend, esteemed colleague, and brilliant scientist, Hildrun
Kretschmer, who left us this night.

Hildrun was more than a luminary in their field; they were a source of
inspiration, compassion, and unwavering support to everyone fortunate
enough to know them. Their groundbreaking work in Information Science
not only advanced human understanding but also exemplified their
relentless curiosity, intellect, and dedication to the pursuit of
knowledge.

As a friend and colleague, Hildrun brought warmth, insight, and
encouragement to every interaction. We are heartbroken to lose such a
remarkable individual, but we are grateful for the time we had with
them and the indelible impact they made on our lives and the world.
Hildrun will be deeply missed but never forgotten. To know Hildrun was
to witness a rare combination of warmth and brilliance—a person who
inspired, supported, and uplifted everyone they encountered.
