M.Phil in Library and Information Science under Distance Mode

Bengal invites application for admission into 2-year M.Phil courses in
Library and Information Science for the academic session 2008-2009.
Eligibility: Minimum 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for
the SC/ST candidates at the in P.G. Degree in Library & Information
Science. Duration: 2 years (1st year: 400 Marks; 2nd year: Only
Dissertation with 200 Marks)
Full marks: 600
Fees: RS.20,000/-(Part I: Rs.10,000.00 + Part II: Rs.10,000.00)
Application forms for admission along Prospectus (Price: Rs.100.00) will
be available from the Office of the Directorate of Open and Distance
Learning at B-12/195, Kalyani-741235, Dist. Nadia. Filled in admission
forms along with four passport size colour photographs, attested copies of
testimonials and the requisite fees in the form of Bank Draft drawn in
favour of the �Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, University of
Kalyani� payable only at Kalyani are to be submitted to the Office of the
Directorate of Open and Distance Learning on working days between 11 AM
and 4 PM.
Last date of issue and submission of admission forms: 01.07.2008 to
30.8.2008 (without late fee) and 01.09.2008 to 30.09.2008 (with late fee
of Rs.200.00 only).
