Libraries and Information Centres are generally viewed as cost centres resulting in many unanswered issues. With limited training in managing human capital, we rely often on our individual traits and leadership styles through trial and error. We sometimes shy away from openly expressing our concerns and doubts on people management & HR practices We are all fortunate to be working with talented knowledge workers - skilled, semi skilled & untrained.
