Dear All, Greetings! We are glad to inform you that the Central Library, IIT Bombay is organizing one day workshop on *'Innovative Information Literacy: active learning and engaging pedagogies’ *on 8th March, 2019(Friday). Despite user’s’ wide use of Google Scholar and search engines, in order to succeed in developing critical thinking skills such as analysis and evaluation, not only in school/university but in the workplace our users need to learn about digital literacies. IL training is necessary for Librarians so as to improve library users abilities to transfer more effectively into professional work environments to become lifelong learners and get meaningful professional work, students need not only to learn IL, but also retain critical thinking skills (IL).
