If you carefully look at the examples provided in the Australian National
Bibliographic Database Manual, the field data for 007, 336, 337 and 338 are
the fields with controlled terms, is mostly same in both cases (website and
database).
In other descriptive fields, it depends upon the resource you are
cataloguing and the information about the database/website available with
you. For example, if access period of ScienceDirect is for specific period
it can be mentioned in the 362 field.
The specific type of resources (video, database, website etc) are generally
managed in different softwares through local fields (9XX) or local
database structure which is mostly for local use and may not be common
across all softwares.

My main concern is to first decide the type of resources which I get confused with sciencedirect, whether it should be treated as a website or database. There are some minor differences while cataloguing these resources as per many documents available over the Internet like below.
https://www.nla.gov.au/librariesaustralia/sites/nla.gov.au.librariesaustrali... https://staff.lib.ncsu.edu/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=34604176 https://olacinc.org/sites/capc_files/Streaming_Media_RDA.pdf
It's difficult to decide the type of resource first then finding suitable tags in MARC/RDA for each entity like online streaming videos, videos , etc. Sometimes what is given is missing the tag number from ILMS, etc. Probably these resources are generally not covered/taught under our LIS syllabus but i am not sure.
Thanks.

You can explore the details for 007 - Electronic Resource (R) at http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd007c.html The RDA content type ( http://www.loc.gov/standards/valuelist/rdacontent.html) also do not provide any such differentiation.

Just trying to discover all above.
