Dr. Eric Hellman is a technology consultant in the digital library domain.
Physicist by research and academic credentials from Stanford University,
Eric worked in the research labs of Intel (USA) and AT&T (USA). In 1998
Eric developed a Link Resolver product for e-Journals called 1-Cate and
promoted his company, Openly Informatics, around this product which he sold
to OCLC subsequently. Eric is a regular writer in Library Journal. He is in
Bangalore on a 2-weeks consulting assignment at Informatics.
