Call for Proposals to Host the IATLIS National Conference 2025
The Indian Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science (IATLIS) is pleased to invite proposals from Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals, LIS Departments, universities, and institutions to host a two-day National or International Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place in November or December 2025
Conference Theme
The theme of the conference should address current trends, challenges, and innovations in the field of LIS Profession in general, LIS Education and Research in particular.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Proposals should include the following information:
1. Title and Theme: Proposed title and detailed description of the conference theme.
2. Objectives: Key objectives and goals of the conference.
3. Dates: Preferred dates in November or December 2025.
4. Venue: Description of the proposed venue, including location, facilities, and accommodation options for participants.
5. Organizing Team: Details of the organizing committee, including names, affiliations, and roles.
6. Target Audience: Expected number and profile of participants (e.g., academics, researchers, practitioners, and corporate/industry).
7. Budget: Estimated budget, including potential funding sources and sponsorships.
8. Program: Outline the proposed program, including keynote speakers, plenary sessions, tutorials/workshops, and social events.
9. Logistics: Plan for logistical arrangements, including registration, transportation, and on-site management.
10. Promotional Strategy Strategies for promoting the conference to attract participants and sponsors.
Submission Deadline: Proposals should be submitted by 1st August 2025.

Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria
a) Relevance and significance of the proposed theme
b) Feasibility and thoroughness of the organizational plan
c) Experience and capability of the organizing team
d) Financial viability and budget plan
e) Potential impact and outreach of the conference
