LIS Academy is starting the short-term proficiency courses collaborating with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). Following are the proposed Proficiency Courses: Library Automation & Digital Library Technologies Scientometrics & Library Data Analytics E-Resource Management & E-Publishing Web Technologies for Libraries & Database Management System Research Integrity & Scholarly Publishing Intellectual Property Management & Patenting The courses will be conducted in Blended Mode (Physical / Virtual) between 6 pm to 7.30 pm, two days a week for each course. Physical classes will be held at VTU Regional office Annapoorneshwari Nagar, Naagarabhaavi, Bengaluru. The best resource persons are identified from across the country, who will teach the Physical and virtual students. LIS Academy is planning to attract the fresher MLISc Students from all LIS Schools across the country to extend them complete skill training for three months along with the evening classes for a particular subject training. Hence LIS Academy is looking for Mentors to train the students and Expert Tutors who can assist the students in clearing the doubts of the lectures delivered and engage the students with skill training during the daytime with hands-on experience. Though there is an Honorarium provided by the LIS Academy for this work, those interested in taking up this assignment as a service are encouraged to join us. Who can apply: 1.
