The Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai, is an ICICI Bank Research Institution and one of India’s most prestigious business schools and academic institutions. Established in 1970, it is recognized as an Institution of National Importance by the Ministry of Finance. Since its inception, IFMR’s mission has been focused on contributing to growth and development efforts in India with an emphasis on finance and research. Now, IFMR intends to fill up the following positions in its research Library and Information Centre, situated in Chennai, immediately.

Name of the position:                         Library Associate

Nature of the position:                        Permanent

Number of positions:                          Two

Academic Qualifications:                  Masters Degree in Library and Information Science

Experience (Desirable):                     1. One or Two years experience in Academic or Research Institution Libraries.

                                                                2. Computer Awareness and working experience on any one of the library software packages.

Salary per month:                                Rs. 15,000/- (PF, Gratuity, LTC, Food subsidy and Medical benefits as per the institution rules and regulations).
