Europian Union launched its online Digital library , an online digest of European's Culture heritage. In a first attempt a few thousand works from france , Hungry, and Portugal, were put online in March 2007 by France National Libary, which has its own Digital sectionGallica, Launched in 1996. Its project aim to operate in 21 languages.
