Applications are invited for purely temporary post of Project Linked Personnel (1) for a major project on “Planning for the Research Data Management Repositories with Special Reference to Social Science” undertaken by Documentation Research and Training Centre under the Project Principal Investigator Dr. M Krishnamurthy, for a period 2026-2027 funded by the Indian Statistical Institute. (Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation)
Qualification and Experience: Candidate must have first Class Master's degree in Computer Science/ BE, BTech in Information Technology and Master in Library and Information Science (
M.L.I.Sc) or equivalent degree from a recognized university with consistent good academic record. A good knowledge in the field of Research Data, Computation, analysis, algorithms, and Portal web applications to Library and Information is required. Expertise in writing articles and abstracts will be an added advantage. Good Written and oral communication skills. He/she will be required to help collect and organize information sources relevant to the project so as to develop and manage a research data portal technique that will become a digital repository catering to the needs of scholars, researchers, and advanced students.
Duration of Appointment: Jan 01, 2026 to March 31, 2026 and may be extended for one more year.
Pay: 31,000.00 Per month (Consolidated)
Age: Should not exceed 35 years as on December 2025, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/ and Physically challenged candidates.
