According to Gartner and other analysts, by 2015, IT services will be a trillion dollar market and enterprise software to grow to 325 billion in the total market of four trillion. With normal growth and next wave of technology evolution, the IT spend is expected to touch eight to 10 trillion USD by 2025. The Indian IT has an opportunity to dominate and lead in the IT services, enterprise software and contribute to the growth in newer technologies including robotics and bionics. IT Services and Software Product (IP) is the sweet spot for India to gain 30% market share. The speaker is looking at the Crystal Ball in this session and will walk through the path that Indian IT to take including paradigm shift to become the top three in the world coinciding with the Diamond Jubilee of CSI. About the Speaker ============== Mr. S.R. Ramaswami, an alumnus of IISc is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has over three decades of exposure to Business and Technology in Banking, Insurance and Manufacturing. He has been a banker and technologist from the days of FORTRAN to iOS. He has successfully developed and implemented strategies for a 100 million pure play enterprise software company and also has been the CEO of an Insurance Product company from Pittsburg, UA and has been on the Boards of several services and product companies. He has authored of the article "Indian Software Industry - Landing on the Moon" way back in 1997 (DQ Week) dreaming India to touch USD 300 billion by 2010. He has published a paper in Prajnan - the Journal of NIBM, Pune framing an Linear Programming Model for Investment Returns. He has contributed to Draft1.2 of SEI CMM Model to include Risk Management as a KPA.
