[LIS-Forum] Identify quotation on librarianship?

Dear colleagues, A U.S. researcher is trying to identify the following quotation on librarianship: "In my writings, which largely deal with my profession, I have tried to broaden the scholarly dimensions of librarianship and to show the contributions that science can make to the field without losing its humanistic basis."
