We can think of research projects, consultancy assignments, demand-based library&information services, time-bound customised tasks, adhoc work with defined deliverables, etc ALSO in the category of "part-time research"... can't we? Any work or task involving academic, quasi-academic research studies, literature surveys, data analysis, field-based research or any research needed for activism, any kind of research required for *specific need-based documentation* ........ in my view, all this can be considered to be in the category of part-time research.
