Dear Professionals, I am indeed very crestfallen and sad to hear the demise of Dr RM Vatnal.I have interacted with him many times during my doctoral degree pursuit at Dharwad. He was a helpful and smiling personality that it is difficult to forget his ever smiling face. He has been doing well in his profession. He was less talkative and more hard working natureed professional.While sharing the grief of the bereaved family, I pray almighty God to provide strength to his family to bear the loss and bless his soul to rest in peace. It is very sad to inform you all the sad demise of Dr. R.M. Vatnal, Deputy Librarian, Karnataka University, Dharwad on 19 Nov 2016 after a brief illness. He was around 47 years. He completed his BLISc, MLISc, and Ph.D. from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He was also an alumnus of NCSI, Bangalore. He immensely contributed towards the development of university library.
I join in conveying our heartfelt condolences to all the members of his family and pray God to give them strength to bear the loss. May God rest his soul in peace.
