In 1998 Eric developed a Link Resolver product for e-Journals called 1-Cate and promoted his company, Openly Informatics, around this product which he sold to OCLC subsequently. Eric is a regular writer in Library Journal. He is in Bangalore on a 2-weeks consulting assignment at Informatics.
