The Department of Library and Information Science and the Department of Business Administration of the University of Kalyani are going to jointly organise a UGC-sponsored National Seminar on Knowledge Management: Issues and Perspectives on March 25, 2010 at 11.00 AM at Acharya Prafulla Chandra Sabhakakhya, Administrative Building, University of Kalyani.

Sub-themes of the Topic

Knowledge management and Information management;

Knowledge generation and communication;

Knowledge Organisation: Tools and Techniques;

Knowledge management and Social challenges: Education, public health, food security, water supply, employment, gender and youth;

Best practices from industries like IT, pharma, manufacturing;

Knowledge Management and Governance: KM impacts on service delivery in public sector institutions;

Knowledge Management and ICT.

Target Participants

Management and IT personnel from industries and corporate houses, Teachers, Research Scholars and Students.

Call for Papers/Posters

Papers/posters on the abovementioned themes should be submitted by hand/post either to Dr. Satyajit Dhar, Department of Business Administration or Prof. Juran Krishna Sarkhel, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kalyani, Kalyani-741235, WB.
