Dear friends, I am happy to inform you that Mr. N.Avadaiappan, Joint Director, Dept of Public Libraries, Govt. of Tamil Nadu and also Librarian-in-charge, Connemara Public Library (State Central Library) has been appointed as a full time Director of Connemara Public Library. The Librarian post has been now upgraded to Director. Mr. N. Avadaiappan is a qualified library professional. He has taken charge to-day as the first Director of Connemara Public Library Congratulations to the first new Director. This is good news for all the library professionals.
