About the Speaker:
Dr. T.V. Ramachandra is the Coordinator of the Energy and Wetlands Research Group and the Convenor of the Environmental Information System at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science. With a Ph.D. in Ecology
and Energy, Dr. Ramachandra has established a prolific research career spanning over 25 years. He is actively involved in numerous wetlands and environmental policy committees and has received prestigious awards for his contributions to ecology and sustainable
development.
Dr Ramachandra’s research interests include aquatic ecosystems, biodiversity, ecological modelling, renewable energy, and energy planning. He has published extensively, with over 355 research papers and 21 books to his credit.
